Schedule/Hours:

• 6:45am7:15pm shifts
• Call requirements
• Weekends and holidays coverage
• No BLOCK scheduling

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current and valid ORT or CST certification required
• Prior travel assignment experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency and high ratings on surgical skills assessment
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center required
• Burn experience highly valued
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced and emergent situations

Role Responsibilities:

• Support surgical teams during operative procedures in a trauma setting
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper instrument handling
• Assist surgeons and circulating nurses in a range of cases, including burns
• Adhere to facility protocols, patient safety standards, and infection prevention guidelines
• Respond quickly and efficiently during high-acuity emergencies
• Participate in call rotations and provide flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts
