Schedule/Hours:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts (06:0018:30) OR
- 4 x 10-hour shifts (06:0016:30)
- On-call commitment: 1 weekend per month and 12 weekdays per week, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert surgical technologist support in the Cardiovascular OR, including all cardiac, vascular, and robotic cases
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and operating room protocols
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers for seamless patient care
- Respond quickly and efficiently to changing case requirements and emergency situations
Desired Qualifications:
- Active NBSTSA CST certification required
- Minimum of 1 years experience as a Surgical Technologist in cardiac, vascular, and robotic settings
- Strong commitment to patient safety and team collaboration
- Adaptability in high-acuity situations and willingness to take weekday and weekend call
