Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current and valid Nursing license
- Previous experience as an ORT or in a surgical/nursing environment required
- Solid understanding of operating room procedures and safety protocols
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
- BLS and additional certifications highly encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical procedures, anticipating and meeting the needs of the surgical team
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure OR protocols are rigorously upheld
- Coordinate instrument and equipment setup, handling, and breakdown
- Support patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff
