In this perioperative nursing position, youll experience hands-on involvement with innovative orthopedic and OR robotic procedures. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 am
- On-call requirement: one day per week and every fourth weekend
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Proven experience with ORT/nursing in an operating room setting
- Familiarity with orthopedic and robotic OR procedures highly preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Strong adaptability and a collaborative approach to patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care in the operating room
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of surgical and robotic equipment
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and documentation standards
