Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shift start times: 0600-0800
- Possible on-call requirements
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) with a strong foundation in orthopedic surgery
- Relevant nursing or surgical technology background (Nursing - ORT)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to swiftly adapt to new clinical environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Support surgical teams with set-up, instrumentation, and maintaining a sterile environment
- Assist specifically with orthopedic surgeries, ensuring procedural efficiency and patient safety
- Manage specimen, instrument, and supply tracking throughout procedures
- Uphold meticulous documentation and adherence to facility standards
- Respond to on-call responsibilities with professionalism and timely response
