Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, with flexible start times between 6am-8am
  • On-call required one day each week
  • Rotating on-call coverage every fourth weekend

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures in orthopedic and robotic specialties
  • Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and patient safety standards
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members during all phases of surgery
  • Maintain and troubleshoot surgical instruments and technology
  • Offer pre- and post-operative care as needed to optimize patient outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an ORT and valid nursing credentials
  • Recent experience in an operating room setting, preferably with ortho/robotic procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to participate in a variable schedule and be available for on-call shifts
