Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, with flexible start times between 6am-8am
- On-call required one day each week
- Rotating on-call coverage every fourth weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures in orthopedic and robotic specialties
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members during all phases of surgery
- Maintain and troubleshoot surgical instruments and technology
- Offer pre- and post-operative care as needed to optimize patient outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as an ORT and valid nursing credentials
- Recent experience in an operating room setting, preferably with ortho/robotic procedures
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to participate in a variable schedule and be available for on-call shifts
