Working within a dynamic surgical department, youll expand your expertise in cardiovascular, neurosciences, thoracic, transplant, robotics, ortho/spine, podiatry, and more. The unit offers a collaborative culture, with strong management support and team-based patient care, so youll be part of innovative procedures and diverse approaches to patient careall while enjoying the adventure of discovering new places during your downtime.
Schedule / Hours:
- 3 days, 0630-1900
- 4 days, 0630-1700
- 3 days, 1030-2300
- Weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed
- On-call required, response within 40 minutes
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Operating Room settings
- Current BLS certification; CST required if applicable
- RN: Circulating experience, proficiency with Foley catheter, chest tube management, AED
- Tech: Proficiency in listed surgical specialties, able to scrub above cases
- Robotics (Davinci D5) experience preferred, not required
- EMR (Cerner), IV Pumps, medication dispensing, and surgical equipment familiarity
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care in a variety of surgical cases, assisting with complex and routine procedures
- Collaborate with a team of skilled RN and Techs
- Float as needed for breaks and to support other OR teams
- Uphold a safe, high-quality environment and maintain accurate clinical documentation
