Schedule:
- Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (7:00 am 3:30 pm, with possible early starts from 6:00 am depending on cases)
- On-call rotation: Approximately one night every two-week pay period, and every 5th to 6th weekend
- Holiday call rotation required
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training completed
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Ability to stay within 30 minutes of facility while on-call
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Ensure sterile field integrity and adherence to infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members
- Provide exceptional patient care in the perioperative environment
