Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT) required
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
- Recent experience working in a hospital operating room environment
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols
- Proficient in anticipating surgeon and procedural needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time hours
- Rotating shifts, including occasional on-call or evening coverage
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies for each surgical procedure
- Ensure all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use according to established protocols
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures
- Pass instruments, sponges, and other items to surgeons during operations
- Manage and account for surgical instruments, sharps, and supplies throughout the procedure
- Support safe and efficient patient care by collaborating with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia providers
- Decontaminate, clean, and restock operating rooms between cases

$2,341 - $2,468/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
