Schedule Options:
- 5 days, 8-hour shifts, full time
- Choice of four shift times:
- 0630-1500 (2 positions, MondayFriday)
- 1100-1930 (1 position, MondayFriday)
- 1400-2230 (1 position, MondayFriday)
Professional Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients; ensure aseptic techniques and infection control standards are strictly followed
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of complex surgical cases, including GI, general surgery, urology, gyn, ortho, neuro, robotics, and more
- Prepare surgical suites, equipment, and instruments in line with each cases requirements, referencing updated physician preference cards
- Contribute to biological specimen handling, safe patient transport, and positioning for diverse surgical procedures
- Support team dynamics by collaborating, communicating effectively, and adhering to all safety protocols
- Facilitate patient comfort and privacy, adapting care to meet age-specific and developmental needs
- Maintain OR sanitation, traffic control, and dress code standards
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Completion of a Surgical Technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program
- Valid BLS certification (AHA only)
- Certified Surgical Technologist or current LVN/LPN license
- EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to proficiently scrub in at least three specialty areas, including GI and robotics, a plus
