This travel assignment offers you the chance to expand your expertise in a 337-bed facility renowned for its comprehensive surgical services. By joining this high-volume operating department with 13 ORs and dedicated procedure rooms, youll work across a diverse range of surgical specialtiesfrom complex ortho and spine cases to advanced robotics, vascular, and thoracic procedures. Collaborating with teams utilizing cutting-edge technology like EPIC, Alaris, and Phillips monitors, youll both sharpen your clinical skills and learn from varied leadership approaches. Such exposure will enhance your resume and professional network while broadening your practice wisdom.

In your downtime, Charlottes vibrant neighborhoods, greenways, and culinary hotspots invite memorable adventures, making every off-shift as rewarding as your time in the OR.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment
  • Orientation: Main OR1 week (five 8-hour shifts); CVOR2 weeks (five 8-hour shifts)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in specialty (RN, CST, CVOR RN, or CVOR CST)
  • Surgical Tech: Graduated from an accredited program; BLS required; National certification preferred
  • Scrubbing proficiency in Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General, Urology, Robotic, GYN, Colon, Breast, Spine, Podiatry, and Plastic surgery cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and support a high volume of complex surgeries in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain aseptic technique and exceptional patient safety
  • Contribute to room turnovers, patient positioning, equipment set-up, and coordination with anesthesia and circulator
  • Document procedures using Epic EMR
