An experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR CST) opportunity is available in Cedar Park, TX, ideal for professionals skilled in high-volume cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures. This contract position requires a minimum of three years of recent, full-time experience in a similarly demanding hospital environment, ensuring readiness to independently manage complex cases with minimal onboarding.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years recent full-time CVOR CST experience in cardiac/thoracic/vascular OR settings
  • Demonstrated proficiency across all relevant surgical procedures in a high-volume hospital
  • Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming independence and no need for training
  • Ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced operating room environment

Responsibilities:

  • Independently assist in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries with precision and efficiency

  • Participate in call coverage for the service line, including after-hours and weekend shifts

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekday shifts: 3 shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM (schedule based on department needs)
  • Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
