• Variable schedule with call required

Role Requirements:

• Nursing experience as an ORT (Operating Room Technician/Scrub)
• Minimum rating of 3 or higher on Skills Checklist for Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular specialties
• Broad surgical knowledge, including exposure to: general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic, urology, burn, and trauma service lines
• Flexibility and readiness to float to other departments as needed

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative patient care in a 1:1 patient ratio
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field; anticipate needs of surgical teams
• Consistently adhere to hospital protocols and national safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation via Cerner
