Job Description

Seeking experienced Operating Room Technologists (ORT) for rewarding contract opportunities in a vibrant, high-acuity surgical environment. The assignment offers a 13-week duration, with start dates available on 3/16, 3/30, or 4/13. Professionals in these roles will play a vital role supporting perioperative teams in a high-capacity setting, utilizing advanced surgical technology and best practices.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4x10 or 4x12 day/evening rotation available
  • Evening shifts for 4x10: 1:00 pm 11:00 pm; Days: 7:00 am 5:30 pm (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9:00 am 7:30 pm (Wed)
  • Weekend assignments include 12-hour shifts as part of your contracted hours
  • 4x12 evening: 11:00 am 11:00 pm; Days: 7:00 am 7:30 pm (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9:00 am 9:30 pm (Wed)
  • Includes two weeks on nights per contract and at least two short-call shifts every four weeks

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Operating Room Technologist in a large, high-volume OR setting
  • Expertise with scrubbing/surgical assistance across a range of specialties
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and OR equipment handling
  • Flexibility to rotate between days, evenings, nights, and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgical teams by preparing the operating room, arranging instruments, and ensuring a sterile field
  • Support the needs of surgical staff throughout procedures with efficiency and attention to detail
  • Adapt quickly to shifting schedule requirements and assignations to evening or night duties when necessary
  • Participate in surgical cases by anticipating surgeon needs and maintaining high safety standards
  • Respond to call shifts and weekend assignments as required to maintain optimal OR operations
