This opportunity as a Surgical Technologist opens doors to professional growth by exposing you to a wide range of surgical specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental procedures. Working alongside seasoned professionals, you'll gain firsthand knowledge of diverse surgical techniques, best practices, and leadership approachesgiving your rsum a significant boost and broadening your career outlook.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 am 3:30 pm (some shifts may start as early as 6:00 am, depending on surgery schedule)
  • On-call rotation: approximately 1 night per two-week pay period, plus every 5th to 6th weekend
  • Holiday call rotation

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training
  • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
  • Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, Dental
  • Willingness to remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on-call

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure a sterile environment
  • Support surgeons during procedures across multiple specialties
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in post-operative care
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing and surgical teams
