Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; flexible start and end dates based on assignment needs
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid RN license (state or compact)
- Proven experience as an Operating Room Nurse or previous ORT role preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical procedures
- Ability to quickly assess patients and respond to emergent situations
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery by providing education and emotional support
- Assist surgical teams intraoperatively, ensuring aseptic technique and safety
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and during recovery
- Document procedures and patient outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to optimize patient care
