Schedule/Hours:
- 8 D/E; 40 hours per week (0700, 0900, 1100, 1500 start times)
- Weekend and holiday rotation as needed
- On-call may be required depending on skills
- Floating required within the OR as needed
Qualifications:
- Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification (required upon submission)
- AHA BLS certification (required upon submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical experience, including:
- Neuro and ortho (totals and trauma)
- Genuro skillsets, da Vinci robotics, total joint support, urology, peripheral vascular
- Neuro-specific experience with Neuro call
- Willingness to train and precept new staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, expert care as an OR scrub tech across varied surgical specialties
- Support and mentor less experienced team members
- Adapt and float within the OR to meet changing unit needs
- Participate in call and weekend/holiday shifts as scheduled
