An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to work in a dynamic surgical environment. This travel position is based in Burnsville, MN, offering a blend of orthopedic and specialty surgical cases. The role requires versatility, technical proficiency, and commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures including total joint replacements and trauma cases.
• Support specialty surgeries such as neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular interventions.
• Utilize EPIC and DaVinci systems effectively within the OR setting.
• Maintain compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Float within the OR departments as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts with start times ranging between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
• Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as required.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification at the time of application.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general OR skills and orthopedic procedures.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records and DaVinci surgical systems.
• Ability to manage a variety of cases including ortho trauma, total joint support, neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts; start times vary (07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00)
• Weekend and holiday availability as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
