As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) specializing in Cardiovascular/Operating Room/ Open Heart procedures, youll have the chance to work in a state-of-the-art surgical department. Gain exposure to a variety of patient cases, unit technology, and experienced clinical teamsbroadening your resume with new clinical skills and insights into different approaches to care and leadership. Schedule/Hours:
- 410-hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm), MondayFriday, with one rotating day off
- Weekend and weekday call rotation
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Current BLS certification
- CST credential and NBSTSA Certification required
- Robust skills in a high-acuity, multi-specialty OR environment
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to anticipate clinical needs
- Preferred: Robotics training and vascular/open heart experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare OR suites and equipment for a variety of surgical cases
- Scrub in and assist on surgical procedures including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neuro, and robotics cases
- Maintain sterile fields and anticipate surgeon and patient needs
- Adhere to hospital protocols, including EMR documentation (EPIC)
