As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) specializing in Cardiovascular/Operating Room/ Open Heart procedures, youll have the chance to work in a state-of-the-art surgical department. Gain exposure to a variety of patient cases, unit technology, and experienced clinical teamsbroadening your resume with new clinical skills and insights into different approaches to care and leadership. Schedule/Hours:

  • 410-hour shifts (7:00am-5:30pm), MondayFriday, with one rotating day off
  • Weekend and weekday call rotation

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Current BLS certification
  • CST credential and NBSTSA Certification required
  • Robust skills in a high-acuity, multi-specialty OR environment
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to anticipate clinical needs
  • Preferred: Robotics training and vascular/open heart experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare OR suites and equipment for a variety of surgical cases
  • Scrub in and assist on surgical procedures including cardiovascular, orthopedics, neuro, and robotics cases
  • Maintain sterile fields and anticipate surgeon and patient needs
  • Adhere to hospital protocols, including EMR documentation (EPIC)
