This role is set in a progressive operating room environment where youll collaborate with a skilled team utilizing the latest in orthopedic and OR robotic technology. By engaging with diverse surgical cases and innovative procedures, youll gain exposure to varied workplace practices and leadership styles, enriching your professional experience and making your resume stand out nationwide.
Schedule/Hours:
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- Variable start times between 6am 8am
- On-call: 1 day a week plus every 4th weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of orthopedic and robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Communicate proactively with surgeons and multidisciplinary team members
- Respond swiftly to intraoperative emergencies and changing patient needs
- Ensure thorough documentation and patient safety at every stage
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license (RN) with ORT experience
- Previous experience in orthopedic and robotic OR preferred
- Strong ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Flexibility for variable start times and on-call rotations
