This role is designed for those who are confident and skilled in Orthopedic Surgical Technology, equipped to handle a fast-paced perioperative environment. Here, you will collaborate with experienced surgical teams, broadening your expertise through exposure to advanced techniques and innovative approaches in orthopedic procedures. Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shift start times between 6:00 am8:00 am
- Possible on-call requirements
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Strong orthopedic surgery background
- Current Nursing-ORT certification
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and team dynamics
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment for orthopedic procedures
- Assist surgical team with instrumentation and supply management
- Ensure proper patient positioning and surgical setup
- Adhere to stringent infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, RNs, and anesthesia providers
- Demonstrate prompt responsiveness for on-call cases as needed
