Working in this regional healthcare center, a Level III Trauma facility, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across dynamic surgical specialties, including cutting-edge neuro, trauma, and robotic cases. Immerse yourself in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes excellence and innovation, providing opportunities to refine your clinical skills and learn new technologies such as the DaVinci XI system. This assignment will broaden your resume, allowing you to adapt to a wide array of surgical scenarios and leadership styles while working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and a supportive OR team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Call rotation only: 1 weekend/month (Saturday & Sunday: 7am7pm or 7pm7am)
  • 1 overnight call shift per week (end of shift to 7am)
  • 30-minute response time required; no sleep rooms

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of OR experience (no first-time travelers)
  • Neuro and robotic case experience required
  • RN: BLS, ACLS (CNOR, PALS preferred); circulate and scrub experience, IV starts preferred
  • CST: BLS, NCCT or CST
  • Experience with diverse cases: neuro (spinal fusions, craniotomies), trauma, robotics, ortho, GYN, surgical oncology, etc.
  • Proficiency with Meditech EMR and Pyxis is an advantage

Key Duties:

  • Circulate and assist in a range of operative procedures from general surgery to robotics and advanced neuro cases
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare providers
  • Float between Main OR and OR North within the same facility as needed
