This travel nursing opportunity will immerse you in diverse surgical environments, especially advanced Ortho/OR Robotic procedures. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 am
- On-call one day per week
- On-call coverage every 4th weekend
Qualifications:
- Nursing experience in the operating room, with specific skills in ORT
- Familiarity with orthopedic and robotic-assisted surgery
- Current, active nursing license (state eligibility required)
- BLS/CPR certification (additional certifications preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to varied workflows and leadership styles
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of perioperative care in ortho/robotic OR settings
- Coordinate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff
- Maintain sterile technique and support infection control protocols
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic surgical equipment
- Deliver patient-centered care pre- and post-operatively
- Rapidly respond to dynamic surgical situations and emergencies
- Participate in ongoing education to remain current with best practices
