A healthcare opportunity is available for experienced surgical technologists to support evening shifts in a Downtown Adult Operating Room. This contract role is designed for professionals with a strong background in trauma and specialty surgical cases, providing critical support in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures primarily in trauma, orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, vascular, and gynecological cases.
- Provide scrub support in a level 1 trauma center or equivalent teaching hospital environment.
- Prepare the operating room and instruments for scheduled surgeries.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control policies.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills within the surgical team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience (within last 4 years) in an acute care operating room setting of comparable level.
- Experience in trauma level 1 or 2 centers or teaching hospitals, preferably adult or pediatric specialties.
- Certified Surgical Technologist credential is required.
- Strong scrub experience in general surgery and specialty areas including ortho, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, ENT, bariatric, GU, and GYN.
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance and have no history of license or certification suspension or investigation.
Schedule
- Mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts including:
- 07:00 15:30
- 11:00 19:30
- 15:00 23:30
- 07:00 19:30
- 11:00 23:30
