Key Qualifications:

• Valid ORT certification or equivalent accreditation required
• Proven experience in an operating room setting preferred
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and assist efficiently during procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, functional, and arranged per surgical protocols
• Assist surgical and nursing teams with patient positioning, draping, and necessary intraoperative support
• Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and documentation standards
• Anticipate and promptly provide the required surgical tools and materials during procedures
• Monitor and account for all surgical instruments before, during, and after operations
• Support post-procedure room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
