Job Description

Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting, delivering high-quality support to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role demands precision, empathy, and expertise to ensure the best outcomes in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and the operating room for surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist the surgical team throughout operations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during surgical preparation and recovery.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid nursing license with certified experience in Operating Room (ORT) nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and OR protocols.
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Pediatric nursing experience is highly advantageous.
