Schedule/Hours:

  • Evening shifts: Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour rotations
  • Shifts include: 11:0019:30; 15:0023:30; 11:0023:30

Role Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in an acute care operating room (Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center) within the last 4 years
  • Certified Surgical Technologist required
  • Scrub experience in general surgery and specialty areas such as ortho, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, ENT, bariatric, GU, and GYN
  • Prior experience in trauma, ortho, general, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases
  • Must have worked in a teaching hospital or comparably sized facility, adult or pediatric specialty acceptable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential
  • Clean certification and licensure recordno suspensions or investigations
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health and background clearances
  • Adaptability to new acuity levels with minimal orientation

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a key member of the surgical team in a variety of procedures
  • Scrub and set up for general and specialized cases in a busy operating room
  • Maintain strict adherence to patient safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and surgical staff
  • Adhere to facility standards and regulatory requirements
