This position provides outstanding exposure to a fast-paced environment and highly skilled teams in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Schedule/Hours:
- 6:45 a.m. 7:15 p.m.
- Participation in call
- Weekend and holiday shifts required
- No block scheduling
Qualifications:
- Current Nursing or ORT certification/license
- Minimum one year of recent travel nursing experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Level 1 Trauma settings
- High proficiency in OR technical skills; rated strong on skill set assessments
- Preferred experience caring for burn patients
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
- Commitment to flexibility regarding scheduling (including weekends, holidays, and call)
Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist in a wide variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Adapt skillfully to the unpredictable nature of trauma cases
- Support patient care throughout perioperative periods
