Schedule/Hours:

• 6:45 am 7:15 pm
• Rotating call requirements
• Coverage for weekends and holidays
• No block scheduling

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered nursing license
• Certification and experience as an ORT
• Recent travel experience in a hospital setting
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• High skills competency rating is necessary
• Burn unit experience is highly desirable
• Ability to thrive in high-intensity, team-based environments
• Excellent communication and adaptability under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with surgical procedures as part of the operating room team
• Maintain strict sterile technique and prepare OR suites efficiently
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and support staff during trauma, burn, and emergent cases
• Participate in emergency call rotations, including weekends and holidays
• Uphold rigorous safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative care
