As part of a well-equipped and collaborative main operating room team, youll sharpen your OR Technician (ORT) skills alongside seasoned professionals. The unit boasts 23 modern operating rooms, progressive equipment, and a supportive day-shift staff structure. With opportunities to handle diverse elective proceduresfrom ortho and spine to robotics, GYN, and urologyyoull work with the latest technology while learning from highly experienced clinicians. Exposure to multiple specialty cases and a range of leadership approaches offers invaluable resume-building experiences as you grow your practice.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (Day shift)
  • Call required, with a 30-minute response time

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of recent acute care CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) experience in a hospital setting
  • Current NBSTA and DORA certifications required
  • Preferred experience in Ortho/Spine and Cardiovascular cases
  • Patient-centered, flexible mindset; excels in team-based environments

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in elective surgical cases, including Ortho, Spine, Plastics, General, CV, GYN, Robotics, and Urology
  • Ensure safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environments using advanced equipment and EMR (MEDITECH/CPN)
  • Collaborate with a supportive staff, maintaining excellent patient ratios and continuity of care
  • Adhere to departments call policies and readiness standards
