Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible to practice in North Carolina
- At least one year of experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or in a similar surgical nursing role
- Current BLS certification (or higher as per facility requirements)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating environment
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Monitor patient safety and wellbeing throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are accounted for and functional
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
