Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) in multiple surgical service lines (general, neuro, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, trauma, urology, etc.)
  • Skills Checklist score of 3+ in Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular required
  • Comfort with Cerner documentation systems
  • Scrubs provided by the facility

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields in the operating room
  • Assist during a broad array of surgical procedures
  • Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and available
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, surgeons, and surgical assistants
  • Float to other departments as needed to support patient care
