Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a highly experienced OR Nurse Manager for a 13-week assignment in Manhasset, NY. This role supports a high-acuity Cardiac Surgery & Transplant teamheart & lung transplant experience is required.
Schedule:
MondayFriday | 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
OR option for (4) 10-hour shifts
What Youll Do:
- Provide 24/7 leadership oversight for OR nursing practice, patient care delivery, staffing, and compliance
- Lead high-acuity cardiac surgery & transplant cases
- Serve as a resource for experienced staff; mentor and develop team members
- Drive team engagement, performance, and patient-centered care
- Manage operations, staffing, and fiscal responsibilities
Requirements:
- BSN required (MSN preferred)
- Active NY RN License
- 68+ years nursing experience
- 5+ years OR experience (scrub & circulate)
- 3+ years cardiac surgery + heart & lung transplant experience
- 25+ years proven leadership/management experience
Preferred:
- CNOR
- Experience in a quaternary care facility
- Masters Degree in Nursing
