Advance your nursing career with a contract assignment in a specialized psychiatric and behavioral health hospital setting. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are needed for a 26-week opportunity, supporting individuals with behavioral health needs in a secure clinical environment.
Schedule:
- 3648 hours per week, based on unit requirements
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Overtime may be available, depending on facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Administer medications and perform treatments in line with facility protocols
- Accurately monitor and document behaviors, vital signs, and changes in patient condition
- Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Participate in therapeutic activities and support structured patient programming
- Uphold safety by adhering to behavioral health protocols
- Periodically communicate patient status and updates to nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to individualized patient care plans
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in accordance with state requirements
- Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, corrections, or long-term care preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis intervention training or willingness to complete prior to start (CPI, MOAB, or similar)
- Successful completion of background and drug screening processes

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
