Now Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Olathe Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct care and support within a medically fragile middle school classroom.
This position is ideal for nurses who enjoy working with students and supporting children with complex medical and personal care needs in an educational setting.
Position Details
- Location: Olathe, KS
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- School Assignment: 1 Middle School
- Start Date: ASAP
- Interview Process: Remote Interview
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support in a medically fragile classroom
- Assist with bottle feeding and G-tube feeding
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide toileting and personal care assistance
- Monitor student health needs throughout the school day
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and success
Requirements
- Active Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile populations preferred
- Comfortable providing personal care and feeding support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
