Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid CVOR Tech certification or registration required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated experience supporting cardiovascular operating room procedures
• Thorough understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing surgical schedules and urgent patient needs

Schedule/Hours:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms for surgical procedures, including setup and checks of equipment and sterile instruments
• Assist surgical teams during procedures by anticipating needs and facilitating instrument exchange
• Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout all phases of surgery
• Handle, care for, and process surgical instruments in accordance with hospital protocols
• Work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care
• Support room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation as required
