Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgical teams by handling instruments and supplies, ensuring sterility and readiness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to maintain patient safety and care standards across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and guidelines within the cardiovascular OR.
  • Participate actively in maintaining equipment and inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • Current NBSTSA certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of scrub experience within the past 12 months.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, Monday through Friday.
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts).

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13 weeks.
