Schedule/Hours
- Days: Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday-Friday, specific days assigned on arrival)
- Shift times: 0630-1700
- On-Call: 11 shifts per month, including nights and weekends
- Must reside at least 100 miles from Sun Valley, NV
Qualifications:
- Valid BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification required
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR surgical technologistfirst and second scrub
- Prior travel assignment experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and field maintenance
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize supplies, equipment, and instruments for surgical cases
- Anticipate surgical team needs, efficiently passing instruments and assisting throughout procedures
- Responsible for patient positioning, transport, and OR room turnover
- Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards
- Complete case clean-up, pull case supplies, and open surgical rooms
- Execute and document accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps per protocol
