Schedule/Hours:

• 2:30pm11:00pm
• On-call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Support complex perioperative patient care in the cardiovascular OR.
• Prepare and handle instrumentation and equipment required for cardiac surgeries.
• Serve as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and registered nurses.
• Provide role-model leadership and act as a resource to colleagues.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of surgical tools and equipment in accordance with industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA or NCCT).
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Solid experience as a CVOR Tech or in a perioperative support role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially within high-acuity OR environments.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to challenging situations.
