Working as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician in a travel capacity allows you to witness fresh perspectives in the field, enhance your technical acumen, and develop adaptive skills that only come from experiencing varied hospital systems. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in CVOR or related surgical environments
  • Proficiency in sterile technique and handling of cardiovascular instrumentation
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and ensure necessary instruments are sterile and readily available
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular procedures
  • Handle surgical specimens and maintain accurate documentation
  • Monitor equipment function and report any issues promptly
  • Maintain adherence to infection control and safety protocols

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
