Schedule/Hours:
- 4 ten-hour day shifts (MondayFriday; specific days determined upon arrival)
- Shift times: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
- On-call: 11 shifts per month, including nights and weekends
Desired Skills & Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program (completion required)
- Current BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification (required)
- Minimum two years of recent CVOR surgical technologist experience (first and second scrub)
- Travel experience in similar settings
- Must reside at least 100 miles from Sparks, NV
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments
- Anticipate and support surgical team needs in the CVOR
- Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards
- Position and transport patients, help with case clean-up, and facilitate efficient room turnover
- Maintain accurate instrument, sponge, and sharp counts with circulating RN
- Demonstrate excellent communication and discretion at all times
