Qualifications:

• Certification or accreditation as a CVOR Tech
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting required
• Proficient with standard CVOR equipment and sterile techniques
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and nurses throughout procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring equipment readiness
• Sterilize, arrange, and monitor surgical instruments and supplies
• Maintain accurate patient and surgical logs according to facility protocols
• Support post-procedure clean-up and equipment care
