This role focuses on supporting surgical teams in the operating room by performing critical technical duties that ensure smooth and safe surgical procedures. The position requires expertise in handling specialty surgical instruments, maintaining sterile environments, and assisting surgeons with precision and care.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Assemble, handle, and sterilize specialty surgical instruments with accuracy.
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and demonstrating understanding of surgical procedures.
- Perform surgical counts and report any discrepancies following policy guidelines.
- Label drugs, solutions, and surgical specimens correctly.
- Assist team members with patient positioning and procedure preparation.
- Participate in inventory management and restocking of operating rooms.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for new staff and peers.
- Participate in emergency responses and equipment troubleshooting as needed.
- Support perioperative nursing tasks during surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Certified Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician or equivalent surgical tech role.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality standards.
