Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CVOR Tech within a hospital or surgical setting
• Proficiency with sterile technique, CVOR equipment, and instrumentation
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or CVOR Tech preferred
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures by preparing and managing instruments and supplies
• Ensure proper function and availability of surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols and infection prevention standards
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and deliver instruments efficiently
• Assist with patient positioning and tissue handling per protocol
• Document operative procedures and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other staff for seamless care delivery
