Qualifications / Experience Sought:

  • Current CVOR Tech certification required
  • Nursing background with hands-on CVOR experience
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and sterile techniques
  • Ability to function confidently within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • BLS certification (required); ACLS (highly preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the cardiovascular operating room and ensure all equipment is functioning optimally
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff during a variety of cardiovascular procedures
  • Maintain sterile field and ensure the highest standards of patient safety
  • Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams for seamless patient care
  • Perform timely instrument and supply counts, equipment troubleshooting, and documentation
