Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech, specializing in cardiovascular operating rooms
• Comprehensive understanding of sterile technique, surgical equipment, and instruments related to CVOR
• Familiarity with supporting surgeons during procedures involving cardiovascular and thoracic cases
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent, where required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare, organize, and maintain cardiovascular surgical suites before, during, and after procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies efficiently
• Assist in positioning and draping patients for various cardiovascular surgeries
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot as needed
• Maintain strict patient safety protocols and aseptic techniques at all times
• Accurately document pertinent case details and support post-operative care as directed
