Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Days with on-call and rotating weekend responsibilities
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Active BLS certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Military Trained as a CVOR Tech
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular operating room is highly valued
- Ability to work efficiently within a team in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team in cardiovascular cases, ensuring adherence to sterile procedures and safety protocols
- Prepare and maintain operating room instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures and respond promptly to instructions
- Collaborate closely with perioperative staff to facilitate optimal patient care
- Participate in call and rotating weekend coverage as scheduled
