Schedule:
- Day shifts: 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
Assignment Details:
- 13-week contract
Expanding your experience in cardiac surgery here means working with patients across all life stages, from adolescents to geriatrics. This position provides valuable exposure to a range of leadership styles and an excellent addition to your professional resume.
Qualifications:
- Current NBSTSA certification required
- At least one year of recent scrub experience in CVOR or a similar surgical setting
- Experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in collaborative teams
- Adaptability to new clinical protocols and fast-paced settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain a sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Assist surgical teams during complex operations
- Anticipate surgeons needs and ensure all equipment is functional and sterile
- Monitor inventory of surgical instruments and supplies
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation
- Support post-operative care and collaborate in patient safety initiatives
