Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent experience in cardiovascular operating rooms
  • Active state or compact nursing license as applicable
  • 1+ years of recent cardiovascular OR experience preferred
  • Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instruments and aseptic techniques
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
  • BLS certification (required); additional certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular operations, ensuring sterile field and instrument readiness
  • Anticipate surgeons needs and organize instrumentation for efficient workflow
  • Safeguard patient safety according to hospital and regulatory standards
