Schedule:
- Travel position; schedule details provided during interview
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field for cardiovascular operating room procedures
- Assist surgeons throughout cardiovascular surgeries by anticipating needs and facilitating smooth workflow
- Ensure the proper functioning, availability, and integrity of surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate closely with RNs, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of supplies, counts, and procedures to support positive patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Nursing license and CVOR Tech credential or equivalent experience
- Recent operating room or surgical tech background (preferably in cardiovascular procedures)
- Familiarity with a wide range of surgical instruments and operating room protocols
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
- BLS/CPR certification required
